 Jack Roush obviously is well known among NASCAR fans, and his teams have combined to win four championships, including two at the elite Nextel Cup level. Now fans of drag racing will see this same level of excellence as Roush, through his ROUSH Performance division, will field a multi-car program in the National Mustang Racer’s Association (NMRA) Denso Ford Drag Racing Series during 2006.

 Would you like to have 550 horsepower inside your Ford Five Hundred. Well Students at Washtennaw Community College made this a reality using an engine from a Ford GT. As part of the Custom Cars & Concept program at the school the students set out to build one bad machine and they did just that. Ford supplied two engineering prototypes, a Ford GT and a Ford Five Hundred to be disected by the students.

 The 2009 Ford Mustang will highlight the 45th anniversary of the Mustang. The new model will be based off the current S197 platform. Major changes will probably include body and chassis modifications along with some interior freshing up. Look for the 3-valve 4.6L to stay as it has proved to be a highly stable and worthy engine for Ford.

 US Army Specialist, Marshall Wright of 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division in Fort Bliss, Texas; is celebrating his 23rd birthday in a big way as he receives the keys to the Toyo Tires Catch Our Drift sweepstakes 2005 Ford Mustang GT.
