They get my seal of approval :) , only thing i might have done if i was really tryin to get a good picture would be to get a 2 sided fold up reflector, one side white, one gold, and use it to reflect light to the shadowed side of the face in the second pic. But for just some quick candid stuff there pretty damn good.

Nice. You use any filter(s) for that pic.

I read something about using a filter to decrease the amt of light so you can slow the shutter speed for pics like this. True?

Nice photos clogic... I expecially like the first one, nice use of slow shutter speed.

Yes you can use a Netural Denisity Filter to allow for slower shutter speeds during daylight hours.

Shutter Speed was 0.8 seconds..

well i got my 70-200L f2.8 without IS for $950 so im not gonna bitch about having to have IS..plus they dont make a 50 prime IS ;)

haha.. I cant hand hold that long. IS really wouldnt help much with that short of a lens though..

BTW, this is why I have a monopod and a tripod.. :D

i have a cheap walmart tripod that i use on short shoots..it doesnt like holding up too well with the 70-200 on ..sooo yea..i might get a better one soon..and i dont have a monopod..i wish i had a tripod on the mountain tho!

im in class right now..i'll take some pics of the s3 bumper tonight when i get home before i put it on, and i'll take some pics of the install as i go along too..then illl post the rest of the pics tonight, i guess the upload died at home today
