I was just wondering.

I didnt really get any gains from the dyno after installing either Dynomax ultra Flow or Bassani Quiet Thunders. I am thinking of selling my exhuast and going back to stock. I am tired of all the droan and uneccessary noise while driving under normal conditions.

I can handle losing 5-7 RWHP to get my car quiet again.

Thanks ahead for any advice

Think about HEAT. I would say that YES, it is a requirement because you're going to need to get that heat out of the engine. The only method of doing that is through a free flowing exhaust really. You may not have seen a lot of GAIN by the exhaust, but I've got to wonder if you might see LOSS by putting the stock exhaust on.

Maybe you should look at slapping something like an 03 Cobra exhaust on or something if you don't want the drone...

I deffinatly wouldn't recommend putting the stock exhaust back on. With a blower you are stuffing more air into the motor and the more air that goes in, the more that has to come out so an exhaust set up that flows more freely will deffinatly help.

Thanks for the advice. I will look into the 03 cobra exhaust and see how much it would run me

Remember you are going to get bigger gains from a mid pipe than mufflers/catback.
