Which one would you choose for your ride????? I'm at this stage in the decision process....
I'd probably go with a P1SC with a 3-core intercooler.
I guess it depends on how much boost you want to run. You really don't need an intercooler unless you're running more than 8lbs.

Well depends on what your motor set-up and what hp you want to make. And Vortech would be my choice...S or T trim. I've never been much on the Procharger's b/c of the placement of the head unit and having to tune with a blow-thru meter. If your a mod motor...then the head unit placement is not an issue.

The last thing I would do is go with a positive displacement (kenne Bell, eaton, BBK, etc.). THey simply do not flow as much air (CFM) as a centrifugal unit, and that's the whole point of aa supercharger. How much air can you get in your engine.
I prefer Procharger because if the superior intercooling, and their excellent service. I've had nothing but great things when dealing with them. Vortech is a solid product that a lot of people use, and a lot of shops are familiar with. The Novi 2000 units might be the best of the bunch right now though. It all depends on where you can get the best deal on which kit I think.
Got any specific questions?

I just switched from a Vortech to a Paxton. The only complaints I have about it are partly my fault for buying it used and not checking references on the seller as it was missing some parts when I got it.
Otherwise, I'm really liking it!
threads like this are always worth a laugh or two
whatever you decide make sure to purchase it new so you get a warranty.
my vote is for vortech

The kit should be released around the first of July but it will only work with '99 and up heads. We thank you for your patience and interest in Kenne Bell superchargers.

Still doesn't change the fact that they're an inferior design of supercharger because they do not flow as much air.
Vortech. After all of the old Prochargers imploding (not really) in the 99+ cars I just would not feel comfortable to put an ATI unit in my car. I know they have fixed the problem, but it took them a long time to recognise the problem, let alone fix it.

I had a Vortech S-trim on my old 1996 Cobra and I loved it. I never had any problems with it and I loved the sound it made. I don't have any experience with prochargers so my vote is for the Vortech unit.
