That's just because of all the old people moving here from Texas!:p As far as the car goes.....yeah, I think it can handle it's own. It's nothing compared to a lot of the 'Stangs at the track, but oh well. Once I see some 10 sec e.t.'s I'll be happy. :up:

No matter what you race it all depends on the driver. I took my friends bolt on modded '99 V6 automatic and killed a '01 lightning in the 1/8 mile but he did catch me after that. I had never driven his car before either.

I wouldn't go around braggin about 10's in the 1/8th mile.... Thats pretty weak by most standards... Try to keep it in the low 8's and faster. :eek3:

My car has been feeling stronger since I switch out the plugs one more time. I am still trying to figure out how Mike got that damn 14.57 out of a stock '97 GT. I think he just got an extremely gifted car.
