No thanks.....my car isn't an 8 sec ride....(or at least not yet!):)
I would rather not go up against people like Erica Lugo and "Big Daddy".

I'm really hoping that Erica, Big Daddy, and Chris Little show up...that would make FFW much better since we get such a small turnout.

Big Daddy will be running according to a forum that I read on another site that I am a member on. Actually, he said flat out that he has decided to race just the FFW series. I imagine Erica will be running some of the races as well.

Well Mrs. Lugo usually runs True Street in FFW...I'm sure she will enjoy the Drag Radial class in FFW also as much as she does in NMRA. Any word on Chris Little coming?

Troy,
I'm not sure. The post that I was reading was from Dwayne, and he was just saying that he would no longer be running NMRA Drag Radial class. He was stating that the class was going in a different direction than what he thought it should, although he was very professional about it. I'll have to pick Erica's brain a bit once I finally get off my lazy ass and head to Lugo's to get my car tuned and dynoed (actually I am needing to purchase a PMS before hand, and this time of the year is a bit tight!) Anyway, I'm sure it sould be a pretty good turn out as far as the Drag Radial class goes.

Guys, I can't figure out what class I want to run in this year at FFW in Houston. Should I just stick to bracket racing, or should I go for the 13-second bracket in True Street?? Or even the just the N/A 2v Mod motor class??

DSTURBD: Hope you can come up with a PMS when you finally need it. I am very happy with the PMS in my car, very effective yet simple management system.
Kris: Well there are two classes you can run in: Mod Motor class or True Street. Mod Motor is heads up based on dial in off of a pro tree...and has the biggest purse. True Street is two events in one. Saturday we do the cruise and the 3 back-to-back passes. Lowest ET average for overall, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15sec classes wins a little prize. Then on sunday we have the True Street Bracket Race...only guys from True Street from saturday is allowed and it is basically just bracket racing...handicapped tree from a sportsman tree. So kinda hard what to tell ya which class is best. I will say this, doing the True Street cruise is fun. Riding in a caravan of a 125+ mustangs is something to be apart of. Last year we went through Old River town (between baytown and mount belvieu and beach city)...all the people were standing outside waiving and watching so I did enjoy that. I will be in True Street again shooting for Top 5...see ya there.
