anyone know of any dry kits in the works? I wouldn't ever run a wet kit.

For now, just by being interested in one, you're the nitrous expert on 05+'s by default. I think anyway. :D

What's wrong w/ wet kits? Seems to be the fashion on newer cars.
And I saw a dry kit listed for an 05 on one or two sites, but it was the exact same NOS dry kit I had for my 86... So I'm think they just stuck in 05 to get people to look, definitely wasn't made for an 05.

I just don't want to have to worry about fuel puddling. I have never had any first hand experience with either style kit, but I have been told from friends to ystay away from wet kits. I have also seen a fre intakes that would tell me the same. Plus, I would rather stic to a brand like NX or NOS. I just think so many '05 guys run the ZEX kit 'cause it's the only thing out there, but then again, I really don't know too much about nitrous. Hence the questions. :D

I think the NOS 5116 kit would work. It was designed for 99-02 SOHC mustangs, but I am currently in the process of converting parts from that kit to make a 5115 kit work on my mach 1.
It uses an electronic fuel enrichment controller which basically taps in at the electronic fuel pressure regulator. When the nitrous is activated and that controller, it fools the computer into thinking it needs to bump up the fuel pressure by 20psi. When the fuel pressure increases with all else staying the same tune wise, more fuel is delivered for the nitrous.

Why would you worry about fuel puddling with an intake manifold like that?

ok, I'm a retard, are the runners not designed like the 2V with a long curving path under the intake?

Didn't say you were.....
I thought the runners took a straight shot down :dunno:
You really should get the chip off your shoulder though...

chip off my shoulder? please explain...
I guess I just had a brain fart for awhile, now that I think about it, I have seen that they are short runners. I guess that answers my question, but I would still like to know why you think I have a chip on my shoulder.
There's a plenum in the valley between the cylinders.
Didn't NX Systems develop an injector system for the 4.6? I'm sure that can be adapted to the 3V motor.

Are you talking about the direct port kit? IF I were to spray it, I would just want a kit similar to the NX EFI kit, but I think a different opportunity has presented itself to me, so I don't tihnk I'll be spraying.
