What are your 60s on 18s, what tires, and which launching technique?

BUT!!! ...once you have Chrome 18s, no 17s will ever look right again - lol... this is my second set - had 18" Y2K Rs (for 1 night -lol)... sold 'em, put some polished 17" '01 Cobras on... then a week later, picked up the Saleens... at this point, I'm thinkin the overall appearance means more to me than the performance handicap the 18s present ;)

That's what I'm thinking too. When you put 17's back on, they just look way too small.

Wow, I didn't think that 18's would make that much of a difference. I wonder how bad its going to be for me, I've gone from 16's to 18's.

18's = Bad times at the track for me.
Had great weather, but my times sucked. Part of the reason was I kept spinning a lot. My best time was like 15.1. Best trap speed was 92.01 MPH. I'm glad I kept the 16's, I will be putting those on in the rear the next time I go to the track.

my best 60ft on the stock 18" 295/35 F1's is 1.89
I set the rears at 23psi, the fronts at 45psi, avoid water, quick cleaning burnout. Stage at 4000rpm and slip the living shit out of the clutch :eek2:

My best 60' on a set of 245/40-ZR18 Nitto NT 555's is a 2.09. That is with about 28-30psi of pressure in the rears and launching off idle. I have a set of 285's now but have no times w/the new tires.
